San Francisco City Hall, June 17, 2008
There was a lively spirit of festive activism at City Hall in San Francisco, and no doubt at other locations across the state. Representatives from Congregation Emanu-El, NUJLS, and the joined us under the rainbow chuppah (wedding canopy) to sing, dance, and rejoice, particularly each time a couple would emerge from the building, waving their official marriage license in triumphant bliss.
